Las Juntas is a farm primarily owned by Subsole and managed by Terrones. It is located in the mountainous and desert zone of the Copiapó Valley within the Atacama Region, which has optimal conditions for the production of early‑season table grapes. Minimal rainfall in this area during the fruit’s growing and harvesting stages, allows the production of grapes of exceptional condition and appearance.
Due to dry conditions, water is a scarce resource, so modern irrigation and soil humidity sensors allow the technified irrigation needed to achieve high‑quality fruit. The water supply is mainly through deep wells.
Las Juntas has a planted surface of 44 of hectares of table grapes, with a total of 94 hectares available. The main grape varieties are Prime and Melody. This farm benefits from the nearby services of Tinamou packing house, with a capacity of 9,000 boxes per day.
