Kiwis are grown in Chile from the V to the VII Regions, concentrated primarily in Region VI and VII. They require warmer temperatures in summer, and colder temperatures in winter, to promote flowering.
Subsole works hand‑in‑hand with their growers to develop kiwis that meet high quality standards, while still being committed to the use of the best possible environmental practices.
Subsole is currently one of the top kiwi exporters in Chile. The company’s green and yellow kiwi varieties have opened the door to many interesting commercialization opportunities.
Subsole has developed a strong kiwi program, shipping fruit ready for consumption at destination and ensuring a positive, consumer experience.
The primary markets for Subsole’s green kiwis are Europe (especially the U.K.), Latin America, Asia and the United States, supplying these markets from March to September. The main markets for yellow kiwis are Europe (especially the U.K.) and Asia, with significant growth coming from Latin America in recent years, with Brazil in the lead.
